UniCased® XT is our most advanced edge support system which surrounds the perimeter and base of the mattress, and is a breakthrough edge support system which is a combination of KeyGuard and a BasePlank, as well as a coil inspired design, with a channelled edge that responds to weight progressively. With keys locking into the innerspring and a wider edge, it ensures even better stability than our UniCased® edge guard.
UniCased® is an advanced edge support system which is a combination of KeyGuard and a BasePlank. KeyGuard is the edge, which has keys that push right into the innerspring, ensuring even side support and great stability all round. A BasePlank is a unique channelled construction that encases the underside of the mattress.
UniKey is an Edge Support System which surrounds the full perimeter of the mattress. Made out of polyethylene, it is highly resilient and has keys which lock into the spring unit to give a firm seating edge, greater stability and maximum usage sleep surface.
EdgeGuard® edge support system is a polyethylene beam which is inserted into the spring unit and surrounds the entire mattress perimeter. It gives the mattress a firm seating edge and lasts the life of the mattress.
Handles are stitched to the walls of the mattress, making it easier to safely position or rotate the mattress each season. Sealy mattresses are single sided, meaning you only need to rotate your mattress every two weeks in the first three months, and every two to three months thereafter.
